8 years.. for me 8 years is a long time, 2 short of a decade, dreams, aspirations, maturity, a lot of things in addition to these could be shaped up in 8 years, a kid of this age can do arithmetic calculations for pete's sake. How would it feel to realize, suddenly at a certain point of time that a life can be lost somewhere in translation within 8 years. Life can play tricks on you, it has to, it has no purpose, the only way the very essence of life can stay relevant is only if it spins you up every once in a while. What is the point of a perfect(plain) life? If there is no excitement, no fear, no lows or highs what would be there to remember? How many of us remember the simple days at school or work when nothing significant happens? how much can you re-collect from these incidents? Olympics!.. more of a blessing in disguise for the Tibetan people!.. more of a headache for the Chinese government who wanted to showcase there economic and massive knack for perfection!.. Anyways right from the very start, ie, from choosing China as the host country i had doubts whether China would pull it off or not!.. with such a pathetic human rights record to boast its only a miracle if these games go ahead without any disruptions!..
